Our Process

How does it work?

1.

Book a consultation

We meet to evaluate your options to come to Canada and check your eligibility and admissibility in the country.

The initial consultation is the first step towards your dream of coming to Canada or making this country your forever home. This first meeting is one hour long, and we can meet virtually via Zoom. You will talk to Lucas Nonnemacher, our licenced immigration consultant, who will ask about your plans, background and answer all of your questions.

You can book an initial consultation here using a credit card, or if you already live in Canada you can send us an e-transfer. The cost is $170 Canadian dollars for 45 minutes or $270 Canadian dollars for 80 minutes.

2.

Sign retainer agreement

You will know if you are eligible to apply for a visa or immigrate to Canada once we complete our initial consultation. You can either apply on your own or retain our services. We will sign a retainer agreement if you choose to hire Maritimes Immigration as your representative.

3.

Pay fees

Payment for government and service fees are due upon signing the retainer agreement.

Maritimes Immigration will pay the government processing fees plus biometric fees on your behalf when we submit your application

4.

Provide documentation

We provide you with a checklist of all documentation required for your application.

In addition to the checklist, we will be in close contact with you in order to make sure we put together the strongest application possible. We will fill out the application forms, pay government processing fees and submit the application on your behalf. We will be the link between you and IRCC (Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada)

5.

Application submission

Once our regulated immigration consultant reviews all documentation, your application will be submitted.

The majority of the applications are being submitted online, but there are a few paper applications that are still being submitted by mail.
